Chokebore Kennels
Chokebore Kennels offers training programs for all pointing dogs by the month year- round. They limit the number of dogs so that all receive the proper amount of attention. They have varying cover to work your dog and all dogs are worked on a variety of game birds including quail and pheasant. The kennel offers year-round shooting over the dogs as part of their training program.
Chokebore Kennels also has a puppy program modeled after one used by the late Robert G. Wehle, founder of Elhew Kennels. This is a jump-start program for puppies 3 months and older. Puppies are worked on a variety of game birds, put through a proper introduction to the gun and taught early yard work. Space for this program is limited.
Puppies are available for purchase from their Elhew Kennels operation. Started dogs are also offered.
